Photo Journal!!

What's this? Mum has finished with the phone!

Hey Scaredy! Scaredy! Hey, should I make some international phone calls while she's not looking??

Oh, Hi Mum!! Um, no of course I wouldn't do that to you - I was only kidding!

Who cares about the camera - that hand better be coming back here where it can give me a good scratch!

Yes that's right - you should be cuddling me, not embarrassing me in front of my friends!

Plumpy, you are such a handsome cat! If my little Mushroom was still alive she would be in love with you.
The cats and kittens are very shy here, but I gave one a cream cake yesterday when no one was looking and she licked all the cream out and left the rest.
The other night we went to a different village and the kits were tiny, only about six weeks old and one sat on my lap the whole time, except when I was lifting him off the table. I gave him one of my prawns, but it was too spicey for him, but another grown up cat ate it for him.
Peter has abandoned me this morning to go sailing with experienced people, so this llama will be out capsizing by herself!
Love all you photos though. How old are you Plumps?
Lorenzo.

Thanks Lorenzo. Mushroom sounds lovely but I've promised myself to Elbi.

I'm not telling you how old I am, cheeky llama!!

Plumpy, next time your mum's not looking give me a call. Maybe we could do some phone-snuggling.

Plumpy, you are so handsome.... especially now that you have had the visit to the dentist.... such a winning smile.

Hello Plumpy,
I've been trying to catch the kittens to smuggle back to England, but they are a bit wary. I've made friends with a little ginger, and I gave him bits of Peter's chicken last night. He didn't think much of the spinach and chick peas from my plate.
Missing Scaredy loads, hope he isn't too miserable in the kennels. I expect he will sulk for a good five minutes when we get back home.
Love Lorenzo and Ginger.

Hmmmm, there's no doubt that gingers are the best of all the cats. I'm not sure if you are being totally loyal to Scaredy - putting him in a kennel while you go have an affair. As his best friend I really think I should tell him.

On the other hand absence does make the heart grow fonder...

Ex-Shammickite, my apologies. I meant to thank you very much for your kind comments, but Mum had the computer and wouldn't let me on it!

Of course I am handsome, and I am also hungry as Mum has come home and won't feed me.

Congratulations on getting your own profile Plumpy.

Elbi sends her love and now she wants one too. She agrees that gingers are the best cats, I think you may have influenced her opinion there a little.

Hello Plumpy!
We got back from Turkey at 3.00 am and we are all very tired. Collected Badger and Scaredy from the Kennels and I'm sure Scaredy has put on weight. He won't leave me alone and is sitting on my knee right now.
He quite understands about the other kits as he knows how I love to be in the company of cats, and he feels very secure in my affections!
I'll get round to writing a new posting tomorrow. Don't think you would have enjoyed the sailing though!
Love Lorenzo and Scaredy.

Good to see you back Lorenzo and even better to hear that Scaredy hasn't been too traumatised by the kennels or your infidelities! Looking forward to reading your new post very soon (hint, hint).

Hi Plumpy. Just done my new blog with piccies of the kit for you.

Love Lorenzo.

HAA! What a great blog! Such a handsome cat, you are! I shall have to come back and see more of yoU!

Maalie thinks that Plumpy's mum is more dishy than Plumpy.

Anonymous said...

Having seen Maalie's comment, we've just had a quick poll and have all decided that if we were to choose between snuggling with Maalie and snuggling with Plumpy, then Plumpy would be the hands-down, no-competition winner, of course.

So don't listen to him Plumpy, the poor man knows nothing of the joy of cats and is just obssessed with birds - in the wrong way.

"meeeeeeooooooow"

That's Plumpy for stupid dumb diet food.

Anonymous said...

Talking of stupid dumb diet food, did I tell you that I've put on weight? When they left me in you-know-where, I didn't get as much running about and chasing birds, so I just ate everything they gave me out of sheer boredom and I've filled out a bit.

I've discovered if I jump up onto the top of the kitchen cupboard, there is a little recess there and I can hide from horrible Badger and no one knows I'm there until I choose to jump down for either a cuddle or food.

I am very confused about who I own. For the last three years I have been calling Mum, mum, but now I'm told my real mum is coming home from Guatamala today and my mum is my foster mum, or maybe my GRAN! My mum doesn't want my mum to take me away again, but loyalty is a funny thing.

What would you do Plumpy?

Scaredy.

Anonymous said...

Well Plumpy, I have taken your advice and am busily playing one mum off against the other one. I sat on one mum's lap and dribbled all over her and later I eeled my way around the legs of the other mum until she fed me.
Things are looking up Plumpy!

I just love this dialogue!

Don't you know "meeoooow" means "nooooww"?

Anonymous said...

In my language meeeeooowww means 'feed me, feed me'.

Scaredy.

Plumpy said...

Don't worry Scaredy, Kiwi Mother is my Mum's mum, and she knows how to look after cats. She gives some of the best cuddles too.

And she knows how to feed people. She's never had any complaints. Except one stupid boy from America who only wanted McDonalds. But fools don't count!

lorenzothellama said...

MacDonalds!!!??? How could he???
What a plonker.
I've just come back from an anti-Tesco rally. See piccies on blog. No cats unfortunately, but there is a very nice greyhound!

Love Lorenzo.

Plumpy, I've noticed that you changed the colours on your blog to match your fur and collor. How very stylish of you!

Hi Scardy
Glad you survive your holiday in the kennels. (Hope Plumpy doesn't mind me talking to you via his very own blog!)
Anyway, Meooow does mean feed me - it means "feed me NOW"!

Hello everyone. Just been to the vet's again. This time I have a cold. I am sneezing and making amazing sounds. My dad says I sound like an empty plastic bottle of ketchup being squeezed and one of my mums say I sound like a dog's squeaky toy that is trodden on. I can't help it if I ... oh ... aaa ttt iii sss hhhhhooooo!

The vet gave me an injection with a huge needle. But he is very nice and handsome and my mum fancies him. He spends a lot of time stroking me and I never scratch or bite him. My mum said 'oh he is so gentle. And so is the cat'. The vet smirked.

My mum is off again tomorrow for a few days to see the Wren in Brighton so my other mum will look after me until she gets back.

Love Scaredy.

Plumpy said...

Hmmm, Scaredy maybe you better talk about Llama Mum and Trader Mum, because I is all cunfoosed!

I'm sorry you've got a cold. My Little Sister Mum has a nasty cold too, she is very unhappy. You'll all be pleased to know I am in perfect physical condition!

xxPxx

Maalie said...

Hmmm. No new adventures while I have been away?

Anonymous said...

Plumpy, we can all see you're in perfect physical condition. Yum.

PS My mum left a message for your mum on her blog abut how good we are at cuddling. At least she gets that bit right.

(They certainly know how to confuse a cat: nmuxiymv)

Hello Plumpy.

Been to the vets again this morning and had all my injections. My sneezing mercifully has now stopped. I am still just over 3 kilos and I am to have all the food I want, which I do anyway! My mum forgot to let me out of my kittibox when we came home. I was in there for a full ten minutes while she read the post. She did buy me a new collar though.
Love Scaredy.

Plumpy said...

Ohhh what colour is your new colloar? I'm glad you're feeling better Scaredy. How's it working out with the two Mums?

My Mum left a message for your Llama Mum on Facebook. It should be sitting in her inbox.

My new collar is flosforenc ...
phospheren ... bright luminous yellow with a blue name tag. Llama mum has no taste at all and goes for bright colours.

Trader mum keeps going off and has slept in a different bed in a different house for the last seven days. Today she's going to Brighton and staying with friends and tomorrow she is moving on to stay with the Wren.

Llama mum met a cat this morning and she says he was bigger than you! She picked him up but had to put him down again as the weight was hurting her back!

Scaredy.

Plumpy said...

Scaredy that's not possible. Your Llama Mum was exagerating.

I am sorry to hear about your collar though. And it does sound as though Llama Mum is more stable. If Trader Mum keeps leaving to stay with friends, when will she feed and cuddle you?

lorenzothellama said...

Trader Mum cuddles me loads when she is here, which isn't very often. I think you are right Plumpy, I'll plump (!) for Llama Mum!
Scaredy.

lorenzothellama said...

When Fairtrader comes back from Brighton after visiting the Wren, I am sure she will write to you. She has seen your photos and thinks you are a very fine cat, if largish!
Lorenzo.

Plumpy said...

LARGISH????

I am not LARGISH!

I am Plumpy.

Blimey Plumpy, 40 comments! You're doing better then me. But then I'm not cute and fluffy.

lorenzothellama said...

Yes Plumpy is very cute and fluffy. Sorry I called you largish Plumpy. Would 'ample' be a better word?

Oooh, Plumpy, what a character you are! My bagpuss came and peeked in at you, and wants to know if you're available for blind-dates? (Careful Plumpy, she's a compulsive flirt..) She's relieved to see you have access to long distance phone-calls, 'cos she's still working off my bill right now, and is on rationed treats until it's cleared.
