Photo Shoot

I know - I can't help loving me either!

Oh what a wonderful little cat! He is the same colour as me, but not as fluffy! I really had fun with LtL last night as I jumped up on her pillow and splegged myself out across it, making her move right to the side of the bed while I had the luxury of having a soft, feathery bed! That'll teach her to give me Netto food. Maybe I'll get Kit-e-Kat now. If not, I'll like across her face tonight.
I'll get her to put a photo of me on her blog next time she writes one. See you Plumpy ..

Hi Scaredy,
thanks for stopping by. We are the best colour in the for cats. At least that's what I say. Mum's aunt likes tortoiseshells better.

If you like I'll send you an autographed copy of the last one ;-)

what sort of verification is ijkokkpj ???

Not sure what your verification means, but it certainly doesn't mean kit-e-kat! My word is hyxgal

I am not cat, but I like your posing skills, Marilyn! :-)

dcsrkznu = they hate me!

I really had fun yesterday. I left the most impressively, huge, gooey looking hairball on the stairs and to my glee, found a footprint in it!
What does mrboxzy mean? (verification word)

Scaredy, you and Lorenzo The Llama get all the cool ones.

Thanks for your comment Merisi. You might notice from my blog my Mum and her flatmates don't love me NEARLY as much as they should, so I have to do a lot of poses like that just to get attention. Mum was up all night last night reading, she didn't turn the light out till 3am, so I didn't get fed today until 12.30!!!!!!!!!

It's a crime.

Plumpy, you're looking *way* too plump and content (even smug). You haven't been at those sparrows and fantails, have you?

Anonymous said...

Maalie I won't lie to you...

Anonymous said...

It's a good job there are a few thousand miles between you and Maalie if you have been at the precious fantails! I'm only about 60 miles away so have to be really sneaky if I want to catch one of his Marsh Tits.

This is horribly whimsical!

Jack

(Scaredy's owner's older brother)

Don't take any notice of Jack Plumpy. He is my mum's big brother and is very unsentimental, not like my mum or my grandma who I am now living with.

Scaredy, there is no room for sentimentalism for an ex-stray like myself. There are only cuddles from Mum, and food. All else is secondary - except for sleep, that's up there too.

Take this very moment, for example, Mum is scratching my ears (just where I like it). But do I hug her back? No. Don't get me wrong, I love Mum. But she has to learn that she just doesn't love me enough, and it will take more than scratched ears for me to cuddle her back.

What Jack doesn't understand is whimsey. A cat - as the Ruler of the House - is allowed to anything at any time. As a lowly human, Jack just doesn't realise that we can afford to do what we like. For example your perfectly placed hairball. You and I are the superior creatures, Scaredey, and being whimsical only proves that (daily) to our Mums.

Carry on.

Umm... okay - no one tell mum, but I was using her account to post that last comment...

Hi Plumpy. Got that lazy llama to put up a new blog site with lots of pictures of me on it.
There's also some pictures of that unsentimental Jack and his over-indulged baby.

Haven't you got anything better to do than pretend to be cats? There's a whole world out there.

Jack

I hate to point this out to you Jack - but you're the one reading it all ;-)

There IS a whole world out there, I agree. Writing with Plumpy is one way to appreciate it, and him, more than I normally would. Whimsical it may be, but fun all the same. I'm off to look at this new blog now. Plumps is fast asleep next to me. JLS.

Thank you for your kind comments Plumpy. We gingers, or caramels, must stick together against the hard and cynical people we meet. Not mentioning anyone in particular, but I think Jack will know who I am talking about. Just because my long fur makes him sneeze. You would think I did it on purpose, which I do of course. It's quite good getting fur up his nose as he suffers from what is called 'projectile sneezing'. You have to stand well back if you see his eyes watering.

That tight-fisted llama is still buying me Netto food. No wonder I'm so thin.

Well Mum has ME on a stupid diet. No more than 3/4 of a cup of biscuits over the ENTIRE DAY!

best v.word ever - spzak

Anonymous said...

That's dreadful Plumpy! I would subsidize it with a few fantails. I tend to go for Marsh Tits myself.

Anonymous said...

Scaredy can you keep a secret and not tell Maalie something?

I can't catch fantails. I have bad eyes.

I like to keep Maalie on edge though so there's need to let him know. ;-)

Plumpy, what a gorgeous cat you are, although I'm sure you're already fully aware of this. Sorry to hear you're on a diet, but I'm sure you'll be even more handsome with a svelter figure.

I have a question for you: do you like tummy rubs?

Also, you should vist my blog if you're a bit of a ladies man.

Sorry to hear about your eyes Plumpy. Have you tried contact lenses? I promise not to mention a word to Maalie though. Actually I'm a bit crap at catching birds too. I'm good with mice but LtL will prise my mouth open, get the mouse out and THEN she lets it go again in the garden, AND she puts the blanking plate on the catflap so I can't go straight out and catch it again. If she would buy me decent cat food I wouldn't have to suplement it with mice.

Scaredy, that happens to us too. No sooner do we enter with a tasty lizard, mouse or vole than it's taken away from us and released outside. Normally in the long grass where we can't find it again, and it's especially difficult we've been locked in for a bit. Where's the fun in that!?

We've discovered that the best thing to do is catch cicadas and grasshoppers. There's lots of them in the grass in the summer and they're great for crunching, yum.

Hello Raelha,
Thank you for the praise. Although I am aware how fantastic I am, Mum doesn't love me enough so it is good for her to see many worshipping comments on my blog to remind her that she ought to pay me more attention.

@Mahou, Elbi and Beeps;
Yes, humans are pitiful in their need to try and save the weaker ones. I bring geckos into the house and Mum laughs with delight. Auntie Emma and Auntie Casey were probably not as impressed but they let me away with it. I haven't bothered in this new house. There's plenty of wilderness to explore yet...

Tummy Rubs I can take or leave Raelha. I have two favourite scratches;

The line from my eyes to ears, and right into my ears. Mmmmmm....

And right where my whiskers come out near my nose. Only that tickles too.

Where to those sexy girls who live with you like to be tickled?

Unknown said...

Plumpy, Beeps loves a good tummy rub and will roll over on her back to ask for them, Elbi's a chest, chin and neck girl and Mahou is partial to a gentle nose stroke, or the line between her nose and her ears is good too.

Oh Plumpy, your blogsite is getting popular! Nearly as many postings as Birdy Man!

Anonymous said...

That's because cats are superior to birds, Scaredy. ;-)

What parties do you have planned while your Mum is away being silly on the water?
